Over the past 30 years, David has had numerous planning roles from trainee planner up to Planning Director. As a result, his experience crosses through all sectors of the construction and civil engineering industries. As a trained engineer, he has an eye for detail and good communication skills. David has created programmes and sequence work studies through some of the most challenging projects.

Though David still enjoys construction planning, in recent years he has taken on an increasing amount of claims work. David likes to get involved with his clients at an early stage to work through potential extensions of time and if necessary, continue this into any adjudication.

On projects where potential problems have been identified, David’s skills are often utilised to provide independent programme monitoring – critical evidence in a dispute forum. In addition, he also facilitates pragmatic solutions both during the works and following completion.

David’s knowledge and experience has been recognised by numerous repeat client appointments. This includes commercial developers, end user clients and contracting organisations in both public and private sectors.
